The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) has announced the dates for the Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb 2026, with the highly anticipated motorsport event scheduled to take place from July 2 to 4 in Taif. The championship returns as one of the Kingdom’s leading racing competitions, bringing together some of Saudi Arabia’s most talented drivers for a challenging test of speed, precision, and vehicle performance.

The hill climb championship has become a major fixture on Saudi Arabia’s motorsport calendar, attracting competitors from across the Kingdom and the wider region. Organized under the Saudi Toyota Championship umbrella, the event reflects the growing popularity of motorsport in Saudi Arabia and the continued efforts to develop local racing talent.

Held in Taif, the championship features a demanding mountain course that challenges drivers to navigate steep ascents, technical corners, and high-speed sections against the clock. Unlike traditional circuit racing, hill climb competitions focus on individual timed runs, where every second counts and drivers must balance aggression with control to achieve the fastest possible result.

The Taif course is regarded as one of the most exciting hill climb venues in the Kingdom. Stretching approximately 4.2 kilometers, the route begins at an elevation of around 1,900 meters and climbs to roughly 2,150 meters above sea level. The significant elevation gain, combined with a mix of fast straights and technical turns, creates a unique challenge for both drivers and vehicles.

The championship provides an important platform for amateur and professional drivers alike, while also giving fans the opportunity to witness high-performance machines tackle one of the Kingdom’s most demanding racing environments.

The Saudi Toyota Championship continues to play a key role in strengthening Saudi Arabia’s motorsport ecosystem. Alongside rallying, drifting, autocross, karting, and time attack events, the hill climb series helps nurture local talent and expand participation in competitive motorsport. The championship also aligns with the Kingdom’s broader ambitions to establish itself as a major destination for international and regional sporting events.

With the dates now confirmed, motorsport enthusiasts can mark their calendars for July 2 to 4 as Taif prepares to host another thrilling edition of the Saudi Toyota Championship Hill Climb. The event promises three days of intense competition, spectacular mountain scenery, and some of the most exciting racing action of the Saudi motorsport season.
