Jeddah, Saudi Arabia: The Organizing Committee for the Saudi Automotive Sector Award has announced an extension of the nomination period for the award’s 14th edition in 2026, giving automotive companies and individuals additional time to submit their entries across all categories.
The extension has been introduced with the support of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and under the strategic sponsorship of GP Finance.
According to the organizing committee, the decision was made to provide greater participation opportunities, particularly following the launch of several new vehicle models in the Saudi market. The additional time will allow automotive dealers across the Kingdom to include their latest models in the competition. It also opens the door for individuals outside the automotive industry to submit nominations for the award’s special recognition categories.
The promotional campaign for the 2026 edition officially began in May, continuing the award’s mission of recognizing excellence and innovation across Saudi Arabia’s automotive sector.
This year’s edition features eight award categories covering a broad range of achievements, including conventional vehicles, electric vehicles, motorsport accomplishments, and other industry excellence awards. In total, 24 awards will be presented during the competition.
The committee confirmed that the complete shortlist of nominees will be announced in mid-July through the award’s official website. Following the announcement, members of the public will be invited to vote for their preferred nominees across the various categories.
The winners of the 14th Saudi Automotive Sector Award will be revealed during the official closing ceremony, scheduled to take place in mid-November.
