Three-day programme brings Saudi heritage, family activities and major prize draws to Dhahran
Dhahran Mall celebrated Saudi Arabia’s 96th National Day with three days of cultural and interactive activities inspired by this year’s theme, “Our Pride is in Our Nature.”
The celebrations, held from September 23 to 25, also extended beyond the mall with a national welcome initiative at the King Fahd Causeway. The initiative welcomed visitors arriving in the Kingdom from Bahrain with flowers and commemorative gifts, reflecting Saudi traditions of hospitality and generosity.
The welcome initiative was organised by RED Malls, the operator of Dhahran Mall. Team members greeted visitors at the crossing as part of the National Day celebrations.
Majed Algothmi, Acting Chief Executive Officer of RED Malls, congratulated Saudi Arabia’s leadership and people on the occasion. He said the National Day theme reflects values central to Saudi identity, particularly generosity and hospitality.
Algothmi also highlighted the longstanding ties between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, noting that the King Fahd Causeway welcome provided an opportunity to highlight the close relationship between the two communities. He acknowledged the support of the King Fahd Causeway Authority and government authorities at the crossing in helping deliver the initiative.
Heritage and Entertainment
At Dhahran Mall, the three-day programme brought Saudi culture and heritage into a contemporary setting through cultural and interactive experiences for families and visitors of different ages.
The activities combined heritage and entertainment, creating opportunities for visitors to celebrate National Day together while exploring elements of Saudi culture.
The celebrations also featured a prize draw for three MINI Cooper cars. The first draw was held on September 22, while the second is scheduled for September 27. The final draw will take place on October 4, subject to the approved terms and conditions.
The programme highlights Dhahran Mall’s role as a community and entertainment destination in the Eastern Province, bringing together visitors through national celebrations while connecting Saudi heritage with contemporary experiences.
