INTERVIEW
HerStory began as a platform and has now grown into a company with programs and a podcast. What was the defining vision behind HerStory, and how
has it evolved since its inception?
“HerStory was born out of a deeply personal experience where I felt underestimated as a woman. Instead of letting that diminish me, I chose to transform it into a platform that uplifts women. The vision was to create a space where every woman’s voice matters and her journey is celebrated. Over time, HerStory has grown from a storytelling initiative into
a company delivering empowerment programs, personal branding workshops, and leadership development initiatives. We’ve also expanded into a podcast and talk show, creating an ecosystem that not only shares stories but actively builds women’s capabilities.”
You’ve interviewed many influential women on the HerStory Podcast. Which conversation has stayed with you the most, and why?
“Each conversation is unique, but the one that truly stayed with me was with Maram Al Eid. Her insights on resilience and leading with authenticity resonated deeply. Her journey reflects the essence of HerStory. Women who rise above challenges and remain true to
themselves. It reminded me why storytelling is such a powerful tool for empowerment.”
You’ve been recognized as one of the Top Arab Creators on LinkedIn. How has this platform helped you expand your influence and create meaningful impact?
“LinkedIn has been a cornerstone of my journey. It provided me with visibility, credibility, and most importantly, a community. By sharing authentic stories, reflections, and thought leadership, I connected with people across the globe, many of whom became collaborators and friends. Being named a Top Arab Creator validated this impact, but the real reward has
been seeing women inspired to step forward and claim their space.”
Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 is strongly centered around innovation and women’s empowerment. How do you see your work aligning with this transformation?
HerStory aligns directly with Vision 2030’s mission to unlock human potential and place women at the center of national transformation. Through our programs, we support leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives in positioning themselves for success. By amplifying
women’s voices and providing them with tools in decision-making, innovation, and personal branding, we contribute to building a vibrant society and thriving economy.
You speak often about leadership and personal branding. What are the top three qualities every aspiring woman leader should focus on developing?
“The first is authenticity. Because leadership without authenticity is unsustainable. The second is strategic thinking, the ability to see the bigger picture and align actions with vision. And third, emotional intelligence, which allows leaders to connect, inspire, and navigate complex human dynamics. Together, these qualities form the foundation of impactful leadership.”
Building a platform like HerStory must come with challenges. What were some of the biggest obstacles you faced, and how did you overcome them?
“One of the biggest challenges was shifting perceptions—convincing others that women’s stories are not just symbolic, but drivers of transformation. Another challenge was building sustainable programs with limited resources in the early stages. I overcame these by staying resilient, building strong partnerships, and listening to the needs of women themselves. Every challenge became an opportunity to refine our vision and strengthen
HerStory.“

Looking ahead, what is your boldest vision for women empowerment in Saudi Arabia and the wider Arab world, and how do you see yourself contributing to it?
“My boldest vision is for women to be recognized not just as participants but as nation-builders—leaders shaping economies, policies, and innovation. I envision an ecosystem where women are celebrated, empowered, and supported to lead authentically. Through HerStory, I will continue to build programs, amplify voices, and create platforms that equip women to rise and claim their place in history.”
