Diriyah Art Biennale Continues Until May 2 in Riyadh

The Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale is continuing to draw global attention as it runs in Saudi Arabia until May 2, 2026. Hosted at the JAX District in Diriyah, near Riyadh, the exhibition has become one of the Kingdom’s most important cultural events this year.

Now in its third edition, the biennale opened on January 30 and brings together more than 65 artists from over 37 countries. The event highlights a wide range of contemporary art, including installations, visual works, and immersive experiences that explore themes of movement, transformation, and cultural connections.

Titled “In Interludes and Transitions,” this year’s edition focuses on ideas of journeys and change, inspired by the history of movement in the region. The artworks are spread across the JAX District, a former industrial area that has been transformed into a creative hub, giving visitors a unique setting to experience art in a new way.

The biennale also features a number of newly commissioned works, offering visitors something fresh and exclusive to this edition. From large-scale installations to thought-provoking pieces, the exhibition creates a space where local and international artists come together.

As Saudi Arabia continues to invest in arts and culture, events like the Diriyah Biennale are helping position the country as a growing global art destination. The exhibition not only showcases creativity but also encourages cultural exchange and dialogue.

With a few weeks left before it closes, the Diriyah Art Biennale remains a must-visit for anyone interested in contemporary art, culture, and new creative experiences in Saudi Arabia.
