Motorsport fans in Saudi Arabia can start making their December plans. Tickets for the 2026 Jeddah E-Prix are officially on sale, with Formula E returning to the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for two nights of electric racing on December 18 and 19, 2026.
This year’s Jeddah weekend comes with an important first: the city will host the opening rounds of the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. It will also mark the beginning of Formula E’s new GEN4 era, making Jeddah the first place where fans can see the championship’s next-generation car compete in an official race.
Both races will take place under the floodlights at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, bringing Formula E back to the Red Sea coast for a double-header weekend. The championship raced at the same circuit earlier in 2026, but the December event begins an entirely new season and technical chapter.
A major attraction will be the competitive debut of the GEN4 Formula E car. According to Formula E, the new machine can produce up to 600kW in Attack Mode, reach speeds above 335 km/h, and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 1.8 seconds. It also features permanent all-wheel drive, a first for a Formula E single-seater.
Jeddah will also introduce fans to Formula E’s new E-Prix Unleashed format, part of changes being introduced for the 2026/27 season. The performance-focused format adds another new element to a weekend already set to showcase the championship’s latest technology.
And the experience will extend beyond the track. Formula E has confirmed a Fan Village with interactive zones and gaming arenas, giving families and visitors more to explore throughout the event. Ticket holders will also have access to live performances from major music acts following the podium ceremonies, with the artist line-up to be announced later.
