Hajj 2026 Registration Opens in Saudi Arabia for Citizens and Residents

Saudi Arabia has officially opened registration for Hajj 2026, allowing citizens and residents within the Kingdom to begin their application process for the annual pilgrimage.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced that registration started on 6 Ramadan 1447 AH through the official Nusuk platform. The platform is available both as a website and a mobile app, making it easier for people to apply and manage their bookings in one place.

Applicants can log in to the platform, complete their personal details, and choose from a range of available Hajj packages. These packages usually include services such as accommodation, transport, and other essential arrangements needed during the pilgrimage.

The move is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to simplify the Hajj process and make it more organised. By using a single digital platform, authorities aim to ensure a smooth experience for pilgrims while also improving transparency and accessibility.

The registration is open only to those living داخل the Kingdom, including both Saudi citizens and expatriate residents. Selection is expected to follow official guidelines, and priority is often given to those performing Hajj for the first time.

This announcement comes as preparations for Hajj 2026 continue across the country. Earlier this month, Saudi authorities also began issuing Hajj visas for international pilgrims, starting the global planning process well in advance of the pilgrimage season.

Hajj is expected to take place around May 2026, depending on the lunar calendar. Each year, millions of Muslims travel to Makkah to perform the pilgrimage, making it one of the largest religious gatherings in the world.

With registration now open, eligible residents are encouraged to apply early and complete their bookings through official channels to secure their place for Hajj 2026.
