Ramadan Run 2026 Returns to Riyadh on March 5

Ramadan Run 2026 has been officially confirmed, bringing back one of Riyadh’s popular community fitness events during the holy month.

The event is being organised by Race Arabia and will take place on March 5, 2026, at Wadi Webair in the Dhahrat Laban area. Designed as a night event, the run is scheduled to begin late in the evening, with the first race starting at 10:00 PM and the final one at 11:15 PM.

Now in its third edition, the Ramadan Run has become a regular part of Riyadh’s Ramadan activities, offering residents a chance to stay active while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the season. The event is planned as a one-night experience, combining fitness with a social and community feel.

Participants can choose from different race categories based on their preference and fitness level. The event includes a 5 km run for adults, a 1 km run, and a youth run, making it accessible for both individuals and families. Entry fees start from around SAR 80, while the youth run is free, encouraging wider participation.

The location has been selected to avoid heavy city traffic and provide a safe and open environment for runners. Wadi Webair offers a more relaxed setting, allowing participants to enjoy the run without the usual congestion of central Riyadh.

Registration for the event is already open through official platforms, and participants are encouraged to sign up early to secure their spot. Bib collection will take place on the day of the event, with scheduled time slots in the afternoon and evening.

Ramadan Run is part of a growing trend of lifestyle and wellness events in Saudi Arabia, reflecting a shift towards more active and community-driven experiences. As Ramadan continues, events like this offer a different way for people to come together, balancing fitness with the spirit of the season.
