Qiddiya is already home to several big projects. One of them is Six Flags Qiddiya City, a new theme park set to open on December 31, 2025. This park will have thrill rides, water attractions, and roller coasters, and is expected to attract local families and international tourists.
The Universal Studios park, if built, would be a step beyond that. It would likely be a multibillion-dollar project and one of the biggest theme parks in the region. Reports say the project could be financed by Saudi government-backed partners, with Universal providing the theme park brand, design, and expertise.
At this stage, there are still many questions. There is no official list of rides, attractions, or characters that might be part of the park. Universal has not publicly confirmed the plans or given details about what the park would include. This is normal for early-stage projects, but fans of theme parks will likely watch closely as the plans develop.
