Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 Attracts More Than 764,000 Visitors

The Saudi International Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026 has concluded in Riyadh after welcoming more than 764,000 visitors over 10 days. Organised by the National Center for Falcons, the event brought together more than 1,446 exhibitors and brands from 47 countries, alongside 44 government entities.

Held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, north of Riyadh, the exhibition covered 200,000 square metres under the theme “A Destination for Everyone”.

The event combined falconry, hunting, heritage, travel and outdoor adventures with cultural and educational experiences, attracting falconers, enthusiasts, investors, businesses and the general public.

A Wide Range of Experiences

The exhibition featured activities and dedicated zones covering falconry, wildlife, outdoor recreation and traditional culture. Highlights included Future Falconer, Shalail Museum, the World of Taxidermy, falcon racing, sea fishing, hiking, safari experiences, a traditional market, horse and camel riding, four-wheel-drive adventures and the Al-Miqnas hunting experience.

Visitors also had opportunities to try archery, airgun and firearm shooting, as well as virtual shooting experiences.

The programme included folklore and military displays, traditional handicrafts and arts, discussions on history, poetry and heritage, and workshops covering taxidermy, crafts, outdoor adventures, vehicle preparation and safety.

Al-Malwah Race Awards SAR 723,000

The six-day Al-Malwah falcon race featured 12 rounds, with total prize money of SAR 723,000 distributed among the top five finishers in each round.

The competitions took place over a 200-metre course and featured six types of young falcons.

The Mongolian Falcons Auction, held for the second consecutive year as part of the exhibition, also recorded a major sale. A young Peregrine Falcon of the Hur category sold for SAR 1.4 million, setting a record for the auction. Total auction sales exceeded SAR 7 million.

Hunting Equipment and Cultural Heritage

The hunting weapons, ammunition and accessories zone featured more than 5,000 products from over 181 international brands. The zone, described as the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia, included hunting and shooting firearms, airguns, ammunition, accessories, safety equipment, storage solutions, maintenance products and training supplies.

This year’s exhibition also highlighted At-Turaif Historic District, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Diriyah. The initiative forms part of the exhibition’s annual programme to introduce visitors to Saudi Arabia’s internationally recognised heritage sites. Previous editions highlighted Al-Ahsa Oasis in 2024 and the Hima Cultural Area in Najran in 2025.

Preparations Begin for the 2027 Edition

Following the conclusion of the 2026 exhibition, the National Center for Falcons will begin preparations for the 2027 edition, with plans to further develop the event and improve experiences for visitors, exhibitors and participants.

The centre’s activities will continue with its local falcon auction, which will receive locally caught falcons until November 30.

The next major event on the falconry calendar is the King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival, scheduled for November 17 to 30. The festival will welcome participants from Saudi Arabia and abroad for the Al-Malwah racing and falcon beauty competitions.
