Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – September 8, 2026: Sony has expanded and refreshed its wireless headphone portfolio with the introduction of the WH-1000XM4C, alongside updated mid-range and entry-level models, the WH-CH730N and WH-CH530.
The new line-up offers consumers a wider range of wireless listening options across premium, mid-range and everyday categories, catering to music enthusiasts, travellers, commuters, remote workers, students and casual listeners.
At the premium end, the new WH-1000XM4C builds on Sony’s popular WH-1000XM4 headphones, bringing the renowned noise-cancelling performance of the 1000X Series together with updated sound tuning, personalised audio settings and refreshed colour options.
The WH-1000XM4C features Sony’s 1000X Series noise-cancelling technology, designed to reduce everyday distractions such as travel noise, crowds and city chatter. The headphones also include updated sound tuning to reflect modern listening preferences, alongside a 10-band equaliser that allows users to personalise their audio experience.
Available in Black, Platinum Silver and Lavender, the headphones retain the comfortable over-ear design and foldable construction that made the original WH-1000XM4 popular among travellers and commuters.
Fumihiro Zaima, General Manager from SEA Marketing Department, APMEA Division at Sony Corporation, said the launch reflects continued consumer demand for headphones that combine sound quality, comfort and effective noise cancellation.

Everyday Noise Cancelling with WH-CH730N
Sony has also updated its mid-range wireless headphone offering with the WH-CH730N, designed to deliver effective noise cancellation, long battery life and enhanced everyday usability at a more accessible price point.
The headphones feature Dual Noise Sensor technology for improved noise cancellation and a lightweight, foldable over-ear design aimed at commuters, hybrid workers, students and casual music listeners.
Battery life reaches up to 50 hours with noise cancellation enabled, while a quick three-minute charge provides up to one hour of playback.
The WH-CH730N also introduces improved call performance through Precise Voice Pickup Technology, which combines beamforming microphones, optimised microphone placement and AI-powered noise reduction to help deliver clearer calls in noisy environments.
Additional features include customisable sound settings, LE Audio compatibility, Multipoint connection and Fast Pair and Swift Pair support.
The model will be available in Black, White, Pink, Blue and Beige.
Colourful Everyday Listening with WH-CH530
At the entry level, the WH-CH530 is designed for consumers looking for lightweight, accessible and dependable wireless headphones for everyday use.
Available in six colours — Black, Cobalt, White, Pink, Coral and Mint — the headphones combine a compact on-ear design with a soft head cushion for extended comfort.
The WH-CH530 offers up to 55 hours of battery life, while a quick three-minute charge provides up to 1.5 hours of listening time.
Other features include customisable EQ settings, AI-powered noise reduction for clearer hands-free calls and a five-step maximum volume control designed to support safer listening.
The headphones also support Multipoint connection, LE Audio compatibility, Fast Pair, Swift Pair and built-in voice assistant functionality.
Sony said the expanded portfolio is designed to provide consumers with greater choice across different lifestyles, listening needs and budgets, from premium noise-cancelling performance to practical and colourful everyday wireless audio.
The WH-1000XM4C, WH-CH730N and WH-CH530 will be available from September 2026 in selected markets across Saudi Arabia through official Sony retailers.
