The Galleria Jeddah Hotel hosted a Pink October awareness event on 22 October 2026, bringing together healthcare providers, government entities and community organisations to promote breast cancer awareness and highlight the importance of early detection.
Held under the slogan “Together to Spread Awareness and Support Women’s Health,” the event focused on prevention, early detection and improving health awareness, particularly among women.
The initiative formed part of the hotel’s social responsibility efforts and its commitment to supporting health and humanitarian causes in the community.
Healthcare Organisations and Community Partners Join Initiative

The event brought together a range of partners from the healthcare, government and private sectors. Participating organisations included the Ministry of Health, the Second Jeddah Health Cluster, the Blood Donation Department, King Fahd General Hospital in Jeddah and the Jeddah College of Nursing at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
Other partners included Bioskinspa, Delta Medical Laboratories, Mermaid Salon & Spa, Rafik Al-Najah Association for Persons with Disabilities, Jeddah Jungle, Alira Ritual, In2Fitness Club, Al-Sharq Entertainment Company and Eman.
Their participation supported the campaign’s efforts to reach visitors through health education, community engagement and wellness-focused activities.

Awareness Activities and Blood Donation Campaign
The programme featured interactive experiences and activities designed to encourage conversations about women’s health. Awareness booths provided visitors with educational information, guidance and consultations, while a blood donation campaign added a community health component to the event.
The activities created opportunities for visitors to engage with healthcare representatives and learn more about the importance of prevention and early detection.

Supporting Women’s Health Through Community Engagement
Through the Pink October initiative, The Galleria Jeddah Hotel highlighted the role of collaboration between healthcare institutions, public entities and private organisations in promoting health awareness.
The event reflects the hotel’s wider commitment to engaging with important social and health issues while supporting initiatives that encourage prevention, community participation and access to health information.
