Yanbu is gearing up to host the second edition of its community running event, with Yanbu Run 2026 scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 2, at the Yanbu Industrial City beachfront.
Organized by the Royal Commission of Yanbu as part of Saudi Arabia’s growing focus on fitness and wellness, the event continues to build on the success of its first edition in 2024. The run aims to bring the community together while encouraging healthier and more active lifestyles.
Participants can choose from three different race categories, making the event accessible to all age groups and fitness levels. These include a 2 km run for children aged 6 to 12, a 2 km category for persons with disabilities, and a 5 km race for participants aged 13 and above. The event will begin at 3pm, with races starting from 5pm onwards.

Set against Yanbu’s scenic Red Sea coastline, the route offers a visually engaging experience for runners, combining fitness with views of the waterfront. The starting point will be at the Roman Theatre in Yanbu Industrial City, creating a unique backdrop for the event.
Beyond the races, visitors can expect a lively atmosphere similar to the previous edition, with a race village featuring games, activities, and entertainment for families and spectators. The event is designed not just as a competition, but as a community gathering focused on energy, participation, and well-being.
Tickets for Yanbu Run 2026 are now available, starting from SAR 30, making it an accessible event for a wide audience.
With growing interest in community fitness events across Saudi Arabia, Yanbu Run is quickly becoming a regular highlight on the city’s wellness calendar.
