Riyadh Air to Launch Daily Flights to Mumbai from August 4

Riyadh Air will begin daily direct flights between Riyadh and Mumbai on August 4, 2026, marking the Saudi airline’s entry into the Indian market.

Bookings for the new route are now open. The service will be operated using Boeing 787-9 aircraft, connecting King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai.

According to the published schedule, flight RX697 will depart Riyadh at 2:05 PM and arrive in Mumbai at 8:35 PM. The return flight, RX698, will leave Mumbai at 10:05 PM and arrive in Riyadh at 11:50 PM. The service will operate daily.

One-way Economy Class fares start from SAR 585, while Business Class fares start from SAR 2,537. Fares may change depending on travel dates and availability.

The Mumbai route adds India to Riyadh Air’s growing international network. The airline has been expanding its destinations as it develops Riyadh as a major global aviation hub.

Mumbai is an important addition to the network due to the high level of travel between India and Saudi Arabia. The route is expected to serve business travellers, tourists and people travelling between the two countries for work or family visits.

The new service will also give passengers travelling from Mumbai access to onward connections through Riyadh as Riyadh Air expands its international network.

Riyadh Air is Saudi Arabia’s new national airline and is part of the Kingdom’s wider plans to develop its aviation and tourism sectors. The airline plans to connect Riyadh with more than 100 destinations worldwide by 2030.

The launch of daily Mumbai flights comes as air connectivity between Saudi Arabia and India continues to grow. The new route will provide passengers with another direct travel option between the Saudi capital and one of India’s largest cities.

Flights are scheduled to begin on August 4, with tickets available through Riyadh Air’s booking channels.
