Riyadh has once again become the centre of the global technology conversation as LEAP 2026 officially opens today, August 31, welcoming innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, technology leaders and startups from around the world.
Now in its fifth edition, LEAP 2026 is taking place at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Centre in Malham and will run for four days, concluding on September 3, 2026. The event has grown into one of the world’s largest technology gatherings, reinforcing Riyadh’s growing position as a global hub for innovation, artificial intelligence and digital transformation.
This year’s edition is expected to bring together more than 1,800 global technology brands, 1,000 speakers, 600 startups and 1,900 investors, with attendance projected to exceed 200,000 people. Across four days, participants will explore the technologies shaping the future, from artificial intelligence and cloud computing to emerging technologies, startups and investment.
LEAP 2026 also places a major focus on artificial intelligence, with DeepFest running alongside the main event. The AI-focused gathering brings together researchers, technology companies and industry leaders to explore the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence across business, society and everyday life.
Visitors can expect a packed programme across more than 14 stages and multiple technology tracks, with hundreds of hours of discussions, demonstrations and networking opportunities planned throughout the event. The conference is open to general visitors from 1pm to 9pm daily, while selected pass holders and exhibitors have earlier access.
Beyond the exhibition halls, the LEAP experience is also extending across Riyadh through LEAP Nights, offering attendees opportunities to explore the city’s entertainment, culture, food and networking scene after the main event programme concludes.
As LEAP 2026 gets underway, all eyes are now on Riyadh for the announcements, partnerships and innovations expected to emerge over the next four days. With global technology leaders gathering in the Saudi capital, the event is set to remain one of the region’s biggest technology moments of the year.
