Saudi Arabia’s new national carrier, Riyadh Air, has announced plans to expand its network with three new destinations: Jeddah, Madrid, and Manchester, as it moves closer to full commercial operations.
The announcement was made on April 20, confirming that the airline will add Jeddah as a key domestic route, while Madrid and Manchester will strengthen its international network. These additions build on previously announced destinations such as London, Dubai, and Cairo, as the airline continues to shape its initial route map.
The inclusion of Jeddah is expected to enhance domestic connectivity within Saudi Arabia, linking the Kingdom’s capital to its major Red Sea city. Meanwhile, Madrid and Manchester mark a strategic expansion into Europe, reflecting Riyadh Air’s focus on establishing long-haul connections and tapping into important international travel markets.

Riyadh Air is positioning itself as a global airline, with plans to operate a wide network connecting Riyadh to major cities across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The addition of these new routes is part of a broader strategy to turn Riyadh into a major aviation hub under Vision 2030.
While the airline has already conducted limited operational flights, full commercial services are still being prepared, with further details on schedules and ticket availability expected to be announced closer to launch.
With each new route announcement, Riyadh Air continues to build momentum as one of the Kingdom’s most ambitious aviation projects, aiming to redefine connectivity and travel from Saudi Arabia to the world.
