Saudi Arabia has launched a new fully digital “Package Visa” pilot program aimed at simplifying travel to the Kingdom by combining visa processing with flight, hotel and tourism bookings.
The pilot is available in seven selected markets: India, Jordan, Egypt, Mexico, Indonesia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is being offered through approved travel and tourism service providers, with a wider rollout expected in the future.
Under the new system, eligible travelers can obtain a Saudi tourist visa as part of a complete travel package. Instead of arranging a visa, flights and accommodation separately, visitors can complete the process through a single booking.
The packages can include return flights, hotel accommodation, tourist visa processing and selected travel experiences. The entire process is digital, reducing the number of separate applications and bookings required before visiting Saudi Arabia.
According to available details, packages start from SAR 4,000 and require a minimum stay of two days. A single booking can cover up to 14 people, making the system suitable for families and groups as well as individual travelers.
The Package Visa is part of Saudi Arabia’s wider effort to make international travel to the Kingdom easier and support the continued growth of its tourism sector. India is a particularly important market as Saudi Arabia works to attract more visitors from Asia and other major international markets.
The launch comes alongside further changes to the Kingdom’s visa system. The Saudi Cabinet has approved the establishment of a Unified National Visa Platform under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The platform will serve as the Kingdom’s official national system for visa services and is expected to bring different visa procedures together under a single digital framework.
Saudi Arabia has also introduced an Electronic Travel Authorization, or ETA, for British citizens. The service took effect on July 1, 2026, and allows UK passport holders to make multiple visits to the Kingdom and stay for up to 180 days within a one-year period. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the measure was introduced under reciprocal travel arrangements between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
Together, the Package Visa pilot, the unified national platform and the ETA system reflect Saudi Arabia’s broader move toward faster and more integrated digital travel services. The changes are also closely linked to the Kingdom’s efforts under Vision 2030 to expand tourism, improve the visitor experience and attract more international travelers.
