Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, July 6, 2026: TotalPay has received approval from the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) to operate as an E-commerce Payment Technical Service Provider in Saudi Arabia, becoming the first Indian company to secure the approval.
The milestone clears the way for TotalPay to officially launch operations in the Kingdom and marks a major step in the company’s expansion across the GCC.
Through its payment gateway and payment orchestration platform, TotalPay plans to provide secure and scalable payment technology solutions to businesses across Saudi Arabia. The company aims to help merchants simplify, manage and optimise their digital payment experiences while working with financial institutions and technology partners to support the continued growth of the Kingdom’s digital economy.
Supporting Saudi Arabia’s Growing Digital Payments Market
Saudi Arabia has emerged as one of the region’s fastest-growing fintech and digital payments markets, supported by innovation, evolving regulation and the Kingdom’s wider digital transformation agenda.
TotalPay’s entry into the market reflects its long-term commitment to this growth. The company plans to invest in technology, strategic partnerships and scalable payment infrastructure designed to support businesses across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East and Africa region.
The SAMA approval also strengthens TotalPay’s position in the GCC as the company continues to expand its regional footprint.
More Than $1 Billion in Transactions Processed
Founded in 2022, TotalPay has grown rapidly as a payment technology provider.
The company currently serves more than 1,500 businesses and has processed more than $1 billion in transaction volume. Its payment infrastructure is designed to help organisations manage digital transactions and scale their operations as their businesses grow.
With its Saudi launch, TotalPay will bring these capabilities to merchants in the Kingdom through payment gateway and orchestration technologies aimed at creating more efficient and reliable digital payment experiences.
A Major Milestone in TotalPay’s Regional Expansion
Commenting on the approval, TotalPay co-founders Akif Mohsin and Rahim Pattarkadavan described the Saudi launch as an important step in the company’s growth.
“This is a proud milestone for TotalPay as we take the next step in our journey by expanding into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” they said.
“We are incredibly proud of our team, whose dedication, commitment and relentless efforts made this achievement possible. We would also like to express our appreciation to the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) for its professionalism and guidance throughout the approval process.”
Building Long-Term Partnerships in the Kingdom
With operations now established in Saudi Arabia, TotalPay plans to build long-term partnerships with merchants, banks, fintech companies and enterprise customers.
The company will continue developing secure and future-ready payment solutions designed to support the next generation of digital commerce.
TotalPay’s arrival in the Kingdom marks another step in the expansion of Saudi Arabia’s fintech ecosystem, as local and international technology companies increasingly contribute to the country’s growing digital economy.
