JAX District to Host Coca-Cola Fan Zone for FIFA World Cup 2026 in Riyadh

Riyadh’s JAX District is set to become a major gathering point for football fans this summer as it prepares to host the Coca-Cola Fan Zone for the FIFA World Cup 2026. The initiative will transform the district’s signature warehouse spaces into a large-scale football destination, bringing live match screenings, entertainment, interactive activities, and community experiences to the Saudi capital.

Scheduled to run from June 11 to July 19, the fan zone will coincide with the FIFA World Cup 2026 tournament, which will be hosted across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Organizers have confirmed that the venue will broadcast 55 matches throughout the tournament, including all matches involving the Saudi national team. Fans will be able to watch games on two giant LED screens designed to create a stadium-like atmosphere for supporters gathering in Riyadh.

The event forms part of Saudi Arabia’s broader efforts to strengthen football culture and fan engagement ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2034, which the Kingdom is set to host. Saudi Arabia was officially confirmed as host of the 2034 tournament in December 2024, with Riyadh expected to play a central role in the competition’s operations and fan activities.

Beyond match screenings, the fan zone will feature a wide range of entertainment and family-oriented attractions. Visitors can expect live DJ performances, MC-hosted activities, virtual reality experiences, gaming stations, face painting, competitions, and giveaways. Dedicated areas for relaxation and social gatherings have also been planned to accommodate families and groups of friends attending the event.

Food and beverage vendors will be available throughout the venue, creating a festival-style environment that extends beyond football. Organizers have indicated that ticket options will include both single-match access and packages covering multiple matches, with admission also providing access to the entertainment offerings and on-site activities.

JAX District has increasingly become one of Riyadh’s most prominent cultural and creative destinations, hosting art exhibitions, entertainment events, and large-scale public experiences. The addition of a FIFA World Cup fan zone further expands its role as a venue capable of attracting large audiences and international attention.

The fan zone reflects a growing global trend in which host cities and football markets create large public viewing spaces during major tournaments. These venues allow supporters who are unable to travel to experience matches in a shared atmosphere while participating in cultural and entertainment activities linked to the event.

As anticipation builds for both the 2026 FIFA World Cup and Saudi Arabia’s future role as host of the 2034 edition, the JAX District fan zone is expected to serve as one of Riyadh’s biggest football attractions of the summer, bringing together supporters from across the Kingdom to celebrate the world’s most watched sporting event.
